Membership at North Point is open to state employees, public education staff, immediate family members of existing credit union members, and residents of eligible cooperative communities. You can join online by filling out a new checking account application and making a minimum $5 initial share account deposit.

For all electronic transfers, incoming direct deposits, ACH files, and wire instructions, please utilize North Point routing transit number 253177049. Ensure your correct personal account number is written in the transfer form.

North Point Credit Insurance is an optional program (Credit Life and Credit Disability underwritten by CMFG Life) designed to cancel or pay off your loan balance up to $50,000 in the event of death/injury, or cover monthly payments up to $600/month if you become disabled. Crucial Rule: Credit insurance MUST be selected and signed for at the time of loan origination and cannot be added post-funding.

If you misplace your card, you can lock it instantly to prevent unauthorized transactions. Simply log in to the North Point Mobile App, navigate to 'Card Controls', and toggle the switch to 'Lock'. If you find the card, toggle it back to 'Unlock' to resume standard purchase capabilities.

Yes. North Point Trust is fully chartered and federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Your share accounts, checking deposits, and certificates are insured to at least $250,000 per individual member account, backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government.
